Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 8, 2026

1. Zero Server-Side Payload Collection

At JSON Workbench (jsonworkbench.dev), privacy is not an afterthought — it is our core engineering architecture. All JSON formatting, validation, repair, diff comparisons, code generation (Java, TypeScript, Python, Rust, Go, Zod, OpenAPI, Protobuf, SQL), and JSONPath evaluations are performed entirely inside your local web browser using JavaScript.

Your raw JSON payloads, API response bodies, headers, credentials, and PII data are never uploaded to any remote server or stored in any database.

2. Data Storage & Local Presets

Any settings you customize — such as selected theme (Dark/Light mode), preferred target language preset, code formatting preferences, or custom mock templates — are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

3. Third-Party Analytics & Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies, invasive cross-site fingerprinting, or third-party behavioral profiling. Standard web server access logs (IP address, user agent, requested static file path) may be maintained temporarily by our CDN edge network for security, anti-DDoS protection, and infrastructure performance monitoring.

4. External Integrations & APIs

If you explicitly trigger local backend project ZIP downloads or mock server deployment endpoints, those requests are transmitted over encrypted TLS (HTTPS) connections directly to the designated endpoint. Content is never sold or shared with any third party.

5. Compliance (GDPR, CCPA & Enterprise Security)

Because JSON Workbench does not store, transmit, or process your payload data on external servers, your use of JSON Workbench complies natively with strict enterprise security policies, HIPAA confidentiality guidelines, GDPR, and CCPA data sovereignty requirements.
